The cybersecurity industry is turning to ashes – and some business leaders don’t care.

In this doom and gloom article about the state of cybersecurity, we have heard all these types of complaints before in other industries. We have seen the same massive organizations complaining about CSF issues, but when they are inspected, they are found using non-compliant third-party products and services. No one is forcing them to buy systems that cannot pass a penetration and other cybersecurity tests. So how do we fix a major issue where government and industry OEMs complain about their mess, but they continue to fail through breaches and not pass basic CSF audits. It begins with a common standard. NIST.
Having a nationwide enforced standard solves most issues by creating a solid foundation. This would be a massive change. Because it would require these non-compliant IT support companies to create policies, then procedures for each platform, then training, then work, and then verification. This is how all large engineered systems are managed and maintained.
At TechR2, data security is our core business. It begins with a focused strategy resting on a solid set of national and international certifications. Our new customers are always amazed at the differences when they signed with TechR2 and left their old non-compliant third-party providers. Trust and data security expertise.
