2013 was a very successful year at TechR2. We continue to strive to be an innovator in onsite data destruction, a marketplace that is still in its infancy.
Our entire team was involved in the ISO 27001 Information Security Management Systems Certification process and all our hard work paid off. We are the first company that specializes in onsite data destruction and IT asset retirement to achieve this certification. This was very important to us because it holds us to an international set of standards which ensures our client’s data and brand remain safe from data breaches.
We have achieved an industry first ISO 27001 certification and are striving to be the absolute best and have all certifications above and beyond what is required of us.
Furthermore, we have also experienced an overall company growth rate of 35%! We have added new and experienced employees in our remarketing, sales, and client relations divisions. As we continue to grow we will make certain to maintain the level of service that our customers expect from us and we expect from ourselves.
In an effort to grow our business even more, we have entered into partnership agreements with some of the largest value added resellers (VARs) in the country. We hope these relationships allow us to better spread the word of our one-of-a-kind service and we believe that these partnerships with be a crucial element to our continued growth.
Our sales team has also been attending more and more security networking events to become a more recognized name in the industry. We have learned a lot by attending these events and particularly enjoy the Business of Security events hosted by Mike Radigan.
In 2013 we also:
- Created and relaunched our website with a new look and more information.
- Began the development of a new product/service Mobile (to be introduced in Q1 2014).
- We started a new marketing campaign that includes 2 weekly blog posts (Tuesdays and Thursdays).
We hope to carry our success and achievements into 2014 and have another great year. Special thanks to our President Sepp Rajaie for his continuous hard work and the hard work of the rest of the TechR2 team.
